Go to: Trisha Scotland I am beautiful twenty-two year old Trisha Scotland, from the community of Jimmit, Mahaut. Currently I am employed as an Accounts Clerk at Dominica Brewery & Beverages Ltd (KUBULI), home of our local beer. I’m always willing to try new things as long as they’re legal. Dominica is deeply blessed with amazing natural beauty and my love for hiking helps me to explore this to the fullest. My passion for nature fuels me to pursue a career in environmental engineering in the future. Singing, dancing and reading are some of the other activities I enjoy. As a strong advocate for creativity I sometimes write my own songs and poems. Based on my personal experience, putting ones thoughts on paper is most calming and gives a feeling of spiritual balance; I encourage everyone to try it. Carnival is my favourite season. I love waking up for J’Ouvert and jumping to Lapeau Kabwit. For the Carnival Queen Pageant I plan to promote awareness of Diabetes. This is a major public health problem in our country which can be prevented with correct information. I want to take this opportunity to wish everyone a peaceful Carnival.
