Bethany Seventh-day Adventist Church Holds Choir Day
Featuring The Bethany Ensemble
Saturday, March 28, 2009

WESTBURY, NY March 2009 -- O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us
make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation (Ps 95:1). Take a
psalm, and bring here the tambourine, the pleasant harp with the
psaltery (Ps 81:2).

This is the spirit with which the Bethany Seventh Day Adventist Church,
located at 962 Prospect Avenue, Westbury, New York, will celebrate
Choir Day on Saturday, March 28, 2009.

Music Ministry Leader Dr. Glyndun Sangster announced that the
celebration will feature the amazing sounds of the Bethany Ensemble and
other musical guests.

Pastor Venton Duncan a renowned evangelist from Jamaica will be the
guest speaker during the 11:00 a.m. Divine Worship Hour.

The celebration will continue with a grand concert at 4:30 p.m. Dr.
Stephen S. Carryl will be the master of ceremonies. The Bethany
Ensemble will perform from its repertoire of choral, gospel, and
traditional songs. “We also expect to be blessed with renditions from
some of the most sought-after choirs, musical groups, and solo artists
in the region,” Dr. Sangster noted.

We invite our sister churches and members of the community to join us
as our choirs lift their voices in adoration, and worship to God,” said
Dr. James LaMar, Pastor of the Bethany Seventh Day Adventist Church.
“We look forward to welcoming everyone as we fill His courts with
musical praise.”
