Washington, DC (TDN)
The ABC News Network in America is reporting that President Donald Trump has given a list of demands to the new Venezuelan government, before it is able to sell oil again. These include that Venezuela must kick out Russia, Iran, Cuba and China from that country and that it cuts all economic ties with them.
President Trump is also demanding that Venezuela cooperates exclusively with the United States in the development of its oil sector.
In addition, the President is demanding that the country turns over 30 to 50 million barrels of sanctioned oil to the Americans. It will be loaded on ships and taken to the United States where it will be sold at market prices.
To enforce its demand, the US will maintain the military blockade of the country and has demonstrated a willingness to use ground troops if necessary.
