The Dominica Association of Industry and Commerce (DAIC) empathizes with the Citizens and Governments of Haiti, Cuba and the Bahamas as they work to recover after the effects of Hurricane Matthew.
DAIC wishes to express sympathy for loss of life, our concern about the infrastructural damage, and most importantly send our prayers for those who have suffered, and continue to suffer. A natural disaster leaves much devastation in its wake and negatively impacts the socio-economic state of a country.
The DAIC is currently working with our regional counterparts in the respective Chambers of the islands affected to determine their specific needs and the most effective ways the private sector in Dominica can lend support during this difficult time.
The DAIC Membership stands ready to work with others in the private sector in a collective effort to offer relief within our capacity to these islands."
