Saturday Event to Meet Baroness Scotland

You may know of Baronness Scotland who was born in Dominica and who is currently Attorney General in England; the first black to hold that position. She is also the youngest person ever to sit on the British Privy Council (The British equivalent of the US Supreme Court). A proud Dominican, she is in Washington DC for the honoring of WW II Caribbean veterans; an event organized by two other leading Dominican legal luminaries Gabriel Christian and Judge Irving Andre (Canada Judge).

The event is schedule for tonight at Andrews Airforce Base in Maryland. If you are unable to make it tonight, by all means come out tomorrow Saturday from 1:00 - 3:00 PM at 3060 Mitchellville Rd, Suite 216, Bowie, MD 20716 to meet the Baroness and some of the WW II heroes. It is a free event. See the attached news story for further details and please forward to your friends and family in the area. Let's show our support for our own! The book "Caribbean Glory" coauthored by Christian and Andre detailing the bravery of the West Indian soldier will be on sale on Saturday.

I realize the death announcements might be a public service (free of charge)with no direct income. I am sure the financial gain can be immense from hits, advertisements and interaction on the website. It is with that in mind I am questioning the outdated or tardy announcing. This is the internet and things can be reported in a more timely manner to make the site more worthwhile.
Why would I come here if I can get the information from other sites in a more internet friendly time frame?
I want to compliment you for a job well done so far but please let 'news" be news and have the pages refresh like any other news worthy website. At least death announcements could be updated twice a week.
