Shanna-Louise Elizee - Age 20
Shanna-Louise Elizee of Roseau is a past student of Accounting at the Dominica State College. She was crowned Miss Wob Dwiyet 2005 and received the prize for Best Spectacular Wear. Currently she is employed with the Government of Dominica at the Inland Revenue Division.
She enjoys playing the SteelPan, community service and socializing. Her favorite time of year is the Independence Celebrations in Dominica, since she feels that sense of freedom our ancestors felt. Apart from the Independence Celebrations, she also enjoys attending the calypso shows during the Carnival season, not forgetting the Carnival Queen Pageant, which is another spotlight event.
She is very involved in her community and various organizations and has held the position of Director of Roseau Improvement Committee Inc., Public Relations Officer of Police Organization for Youth Development, Coordinator Roseau Improvement Committee Steel Orchestra and Youth Group, and Secretary of the Dominica Pan Association.
Her future aspiration is to become a Medical Doctor or an Accountant. She feels that the Caribbean needs to stay focused in order to survive the globalized world we live in.
