Six villas will be reopened initially
Portsmouth, Dominica (TDN) - Dominica’s Secret Bay Resort is set to reopen later this year after suffering from the ravages of Hurricane Maria in September 2017.

The award winning resort, which has been consistently rated in the top resorts around the globe is expected to reopen in November. According to proprietor Gregor Nassief, “on November 1, 2018, Secret Bay will reopen with six villas: Zabuco I, II & III, Ylang I & II and a new, larger Ti-Fèy Villa. All Secret Bay villas will now offer private plunge pools.”

The resort will also feature a centrally-located, sit-down restaurant, which will offer locally sourced favorites and a yoga, spa and wellness pavilion.

“We are looking forward to providing an even more complete, intimate and discrete Secret Bay experience marked with the same impeccable attention to detail and remarkably-personalised service you know and love,” Nassief added.

He describes the resort as “a story of love,” noting that “our vision has always been to create a home away from home amongst the wild rainforest cliffs of Dominica and to preserve the natural environment all the while.”

The original Secret Bay Resort took six years to build before it was laid bare by the rampaging winds of hurricane Maria. Now travelers around the world who have grown to love and appreciate the tranquil and resplendent atmosphere of a top world resort will be pleased to hear of its reopening just a few short months away.

Already advanced bookings are taking place and interested guests are encouraged to contact the resort and book online at Secret Bay Resort.
