La Plaine, Dominica (TDN) Authorities in Dominica are looking into aircraft debris, which washed up on the shores of La Plaine a community on the South Eastern end of Dominica. The village faces the Atlantic Ocean.

Persons who have seen the debris indicate that the largest piece, which appears to be part of a wing of an aircraft is approximately 11 feet long. Other small pieces of debris suggests that the plane may have been painted white and blue.

It was not immediately clear what the authorities intended to do with the debris.
