National Development Fund Launched

President of the
Dominica Academy of Arts and Sciences Dr. Clayton Shillingford has announced the
launching of the National Development Fund (NDF). The D-Fund was set up to allow
Dominicans and friends of Dominica to participate more fully in Dominica�s
development.
Under the banner of �Making a Contribution Campaign�, interested
individuals and businesses are being asked to contribute to the Fund, proceeds of
which will be directed to various development projects in Dominica. Contributions
will be tax deductible because of the non-profit status of the organization
secured through the US Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
According to Dr. Shillingford, the setting up of the D-Fund �gives us the
opportunity to accelerate Development prospects in Dominica, while giving every
Dominican an opportunity to participate�. See
