Roseau, Dominica (TDN)
Recently, well over a hundred local nature enthusiasts embarked upon the ‘Rediscover Dominica’ Tour, an all-day road trip which started at Scotts Head on the southern tip of Dominica and ended in Portsmouth in the North.
The tour was the fourth of its kind and was organized by the Nature Island Selfie Tours. This time around, Discover Dominica Authority stepped in as an official partner of the tour. Stops included the aforementioned Scotts Head, Trafalgar Falls, Concord River, Red Rocks and then the final stop at Bell Hall Beach near Portsmouth.
Participants on the ‘Selfie Tour’ were encouraged to take as many photos as possible and upload to social media. Posts which included the hashtag #DiscoverDominica became eligible for a cash prize of EC$100 per site visited.
Countless photos were uploaded. The tour organizers are encouraging the public to select the best submitted photos by visiting the gallery and voting by simply liking your favourite photos.
