Dominica organization in Switzerland organizes two major events

Zurich, Switzerland (TDN) The Dominica Swiss Diaspora Association (DSDA) has scheduled two annual events in Switzerland and Dominica as part of their continuing efforts to promote their beautiful homeland.

From August 7 – 9, 2015 the association will host the first DiaspoDominique in Switzerland, which will include 3 days of pulsating activities. This will include a dinner Swiss cuisine, boat trip on the Lake with Lunch, Salsa lesson, and a dinner and dance featuring local Artists from Dominica. It will culminate with a Sunday Brunch. In addition, local Dominican Produce will be on sale throughout.

The second event will take place on October 28/29, 2015 in Dominica. Dubbed the Miss Dominica Diaspora it will feature a competition among beautiful Dominican ladies residing in the Diaspora as well as local entertainers. The aim is to bring something additional, spicy, tasteful, exciting, refreshing, creative, enchanting and magical to the Independence Celebrations.

The DSDA is focused on ensuring that all Diasporans maintain contact with each other, assist deserving Dominicans back home, find creative ways to further improve Dominica’s economy, and improve the lives of the Citizens through realistic initiatives.
