Roseau, Dominica -- ChantMan—vocalist, songwriter, guitarist, and music entrepreneur, continues to pursue his venture as a recording artist with the recent release of his latest song “Standing Firm.” The fervent, chant-like lyrics, recorded to Head Concussion Records’ composition “Love Salute Riddim,” has truly left a great taste in listeners’ ears.

The music video was created by Akeem Lowe, of Commonwwealth of Dominica, and Ed Francis. When ChantMan decided he wanted to create a visual representation of “Standing Firm,” he knew exactly who could help turn his vision for the music video into reality. He embraced the idea of a lyric video in order to allow viewers to fully absorb the positive and motivational message in the lyrics of “Standing Firm.”

When asked about the birth and progression of the “Standing Firm” music video, ChantMan replied, “the hook made me feel so powerful. After I got the hook I was like yeah, I need to share this message with the world.” And with the world, it surely will be shared. With soon to be debuts on Antigua’s local television broadcast stations, where ChantMan is currently located, coupled with the official launch via YouTube, this artist is definitely on the proper track to worldwide recognition.

In addition to the release of his new single, the new ChantMan website went live on April 14, 2012. The launch of the new website, which offers quick and easy access to essential information on ChantMan, is part of the artist’s ongoing efforts to enhance the quality and availability of not only his music but also information to fans and the world. Fans, potential fans, reporters, interviewers, etc. now, at the click of their finger, have access to his music, contact information, press kit, photos, etc., just to pinpoint a few. You can check out the website now at chantman.com.

In collaborating with and seeing the struggle of other up-and-coming artists of his generation from the Caribbean, ChantMan is determined to succeed; not for himself, but for the entire region. He feels with his own success, he can lay down the foundation to help other up-and-coming artists reach success as well. As 1/3 of the founding members of Lionheart Records are from the Commonwealth of Dominica, ChantMan is working unrelentingly until the world knows his name, his music, and the beautiful paradise of the West Indies, which he calls home.
