Two die in motorcycle accident

Mahaut, Dominica (TDN) -- Police in Mahaut, Dominica are reporting the death of Yonnel ‘Young Stunner’ Pascal of Mahaut and Leslie George of Coulibistrie following a collision at around 3:00 A.M on Saturday March 31, 2012 on the streets of that community.
George was riding his motor cycle with a female rider when he collided with Pascal who was walking along the road in Mahaut. He was pronounced dead on the scene and Pascal later died at the Princess Margaret Hospital. The female rider is nursing serious injuries but is expected to survive.
Police believe that excessive speed likely contributed to the crash and are appealing to motorcycle riders to slow down and respect the speed limits.
George is owner of a popular hi fi system 180 Sounds.
The two most recent deaths bring to three the number of road fatalities in Dominica so far for 2012. On January 6th, 2012 , six year old Dalia Bertrand of Grand Fond died after colliding with a DOWASCO pickup truck in that village.
