Diaspora Housing Survey

The Government of Dominica has embarked on a strengthened housing policy that requires the execution of a pivotal role by a new entity referred to as the Dominica Housing Company Ltd or DOMCOL .

Last month DOMCOL recruited an independent consultant to undertake a housing market survey by securing data on the demand for new housing among Dominicans who are locally resident as well as those who live overseas.

It is intended that the results be used to inform decisions that relate to the Government's new housing policy.

In pursuit of the primary objective of the Housing Market Survey, the consultant has opted to field a questionnaire within the diaspora community and has requested the kind co-operation of the individuals to whom the instrument has been directed."
